BancarelMiele

The first edition of BancarelMiele was held on September 20 and 21, 2025 in Mulazzo, organized by the Municipality of Mulazzo and the Lunigiana PDO Honey Consortium.

Saturday, September 20 was dedicated to thematic panel discussions moderated by Marco Cavallotti: at 10:00 AM "PDO, PGI, PAT, and Organic products: an economic value for Tuscany" (with the Vice President of the Tuscany Region, Stefania Saccardi), at 2:30 PM "The new Lunigiana PDO honeys," and at 4:30 PM "PDO, PGI, PAT, and Organic products: a driver for food and wine tourism."

Sunday, September 21, the festival came to life with the inauguration at 10:00 AM, the market open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, tastings of local cheeses with acacia and chestnut PDO honeys, workshops (face painting, BeeHotel, beeswax ointment making), the Bee Circus performance by Sara Micol Natoli, and visits to the Il Pungiglione apiary. The event attracted hundreds of people, marking a resounding success for its debut.
