Ballinsé – International Festival of Dance, Music, and Folk Culture

The 2025 edition of Ballinsé took the form of Ballinsé Beach, bringing the festival to the coast for the first time, in Marina di Chieuti (Province of Foggia), from May 30 to June 2, 2025, based at the Hotel Residence Milano just a stone's throw from the sea. Four days of music and folk culture brought together about three hundred participants, including full-pass holders, one-day attendees, artists, and staff.

The program featured sunrise concerts, workshops on singing, folk dance, and theater, meetings with the Arbëreshë community, book presentations, Feldenkrais Method and Reiki seminars, as well as numerous spontaneous performances. Faithful to the spirit of 'Restanza' promoted by artistic director Rocco Gesualdi and the Rione Popolare association, the coastal edition confirmed the festival as a living community, open to exchange and inclusion.
