Balboutet Fair

The 64th Balboutet Fair was held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the hamlet of Balboutet, in the Municipality of Usseaux, in the upper Chisone Valley. The event confirmed its vocation as a great festival of the Piedmontese mountains.

The star was the livestock exhibition, with the display of Piedmontese cattle, goats, and other animals typical of extensive farming, evaluated by technicians and awarded with prizes for the breeders. Along the village streets were stalls for agricultural equipment, crafts, and local products; the community oven of the 'Amici del Forno' worked tirelessly to bake bread, pizzas, and pastries. The day was accompanied by roving music from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and a folk dance concert in the square from 3:00 PM.
