Baiano in Scena

The inaugural 2025/2026 season

The first edition of Baiano in Scena was presented to the public on September 13, 2025, and opened on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Teatro Colosseo in Baiano with Vieni Avanti Cretino, a tribute to Neapolitan comedy performed by Giovanni Allocca, Enzo Varone, and Franco Mantovanelli. The following day, Sunday, October 19, at 5:30 PM, it was the turn of Gedeone Cuor di Fifone by the La Mansarda company, directed by Maurizio Azzurro, to open the section dedicated to children.

In the theatre foyer, an exhibition dedicated to Diego Armando Maradona accompanied the festival, while the hall hosted the two sections provided by the project: five comic titles for adults and five events for families and children aged four and up.

The program concluded on the weekend of April 10, 11, and 12, 2026, with three performances of Un Turco Napoletano by Eduardo Scarpetta, produced by the Sognattori and directed by Franco Pinelli, and with the announcement of the «Assuntina ed Agnesina Amodeo» scholarship reserved for students of the middle school in Baiano. Approximately two thousand total spectators, including more than four hundred children, ensured the success of the first edition and the confirmation of the festival for the following winter.

• Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, 2026, 8:30 PM — Sunday, April 12, 2026, 6:30 PM — «Un Turco Napoletano» by Eduardo Scarpetta, I Sognattori, directed by Franco Pinelli
• Sunday, April 12, 2026 — announcement of the «Assuntina ed Agnesina Amodeo» scholarship and closing of the first edition

• Approximately 2,000 total spectators, including over 400 children
• Two sections: «Risate ed Emozioni» (five shows for adults) and «Favole e Magia» (five events for families)
• Exhibition dedicated to Maradona in the foyer of the Teatro Colosseo
• «Assuntina ed Agnesina Amodeo» scholarship for young talents of the Baiano middle school
