Edition 2025 — Bagolino Carnival

In 2025, the Bagolino Carnival once again animated the historic center of the Valsabbia village with its traditional figures. The Balarì in costume, the Sonadùr with violins, and the Maschèr with grotesque masks renewed a centuries-old rite that in Bagolino, in the province of Brescia, has been passed down from generation to generation since the 16th century.

The Bagolino Carnival 2025

In 2025, the Bagolino Carnival confirmed its centuries-old tradition, filling the districts of the Valle Sabbia village with dances, music, and masks on the key days of the carnival period.

As is customary, the Balarì danced accompanied by the Sonadùr, while the Maschèr enlivened the village. A deeply identity-affirming festival for the community of Bagolino, in the province of Brescia, recognized among the most important historical carnivals in Lombardy.
