Edition 2025 — Baccanalia
Baccanalia 2025, the 32nd edition
The 32nd edition of Baccanalia was held in San Gregorio Magno (Salerno) from August 20 to 24, 2025, with the usual opening of the cellars carved into the rock of Via Bacco and tastings of Aglianico and Piedirosso in the constant-temperature caves.
The program, curated by the Pro Loco with artistic direction by Donatello Iacullo, offered thematic workshops every afternoon for adults and families—guided tastings, rock art, children's theater, outdoor activities—and routes marked with QR codes to discover the landscape, vineyards, and ancient farmhouses independently. Every evening, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Pre-Dinner Talks moderated by journalist Nello Gatti hosted voices from Slow Food and the Wine Tourism Movement on local identity and development prospects.
Musically, the village welcomed folk groups, bagpipers, and traditional bands, as well as singer-songwriter Santino Cardamone and the group Amarimai, with evening concerts starting at 10:30 PM. The route was set up without architectural barriers. The official presentation took place on August 7, 2025, at the Palazzo della Provincia di Salerno.
