Edition 2025 — Ayrton Senna Celebrations

In 2025, the A.S.T.R.O. Museum in Siculiana celebrated the memory of Ayrton Senna in a structured way for the first time, during the year of Agrigento as the Italian Capital of Culture. The exhibition dedicated to the champion's Sicilian roots, set up in the Clock Tower, remained open until early January 2026, accompanied by initiatives linked to roots tourism.

The 2025 edition was part of the Agrigento Italian Capital of Culture program, giving full visibility to the newly established A.S.T.R.O. Museum in Siculiana, inaugurated at the end of November 2024. The festival focused on the Sicilian roots of Ayrton Senna, whose maternal family emigrated from the Agrigento village at the end of the 19th century.

Through exhibitions, testimonies, and paths dedicated to "roots tourism," the Municipality of Siculiana celebrated the figure of the champion as a symbol for all Sicilians who emigrated worldwide, laying the foundations for the annual "Call to the Roots" festival.
