AXT - Ascoli Xtreme Trail

The 2025 edition of the AXT - Ascoli Xtreme Trail, held on May 25, 2025, brought together over 200 athletes from all over Italy on the trails of Colle San Marco and Montagna dei Fiori, with passages at the Hermitage of San Marco, in the Vallone del Vescovo, at the Girella lake, and at the summit. The 15 km course was chosen by the Provincial Command of the Firefighters of Ascoli Piceno as the venue for the Italian Championship of the specialty.

In the Croce Trail (40 km), Francesco Vitali (4h24'53") and Luisella Masciangelo (5h28'33") won; in the Caciara Trail (27 km), Federico Frittelloni (2h41'43") and Marina Valeria Coccia (3h05'59") were victorious. The event is organized by Avis Ascoli Marathon and Flipper Triathlon Ascoli, with the support of the Municipality of Ascoli Piceno.
