Aviano-Piancavallo International Folklore Festival

The 57th edition of the Aviano-Piancavallo International Folklore Festival enlivened the first half of August 2025, from August 4th to 15th, confirming the prestige of one of Italy's most important folklore events. Groups from India, Puerto Rico, Latvia, Taiwan, and other countries alternated on stage, bringing highly evocative traditional dances, music, and costumes to Aviano.

The performances, centered in Piazza Duomo in Aviano, extended to numerous locations in the region — from Barcis to Sacile, from Pordenone to Piancavallo — in a widespread program that combines entertainment, culture, and the message of brotherhood among peoples that has always characterized the festival.
