Edition 2025 — Autumn Scents and Flavors

The 2025 edition of Autumn Scents and Flavors took place in Nicolosi over the three weekends of November 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23, 2025, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. Each weekend had a theme: tradition and folklore, mushrooms and model aircraft, painting and vintage cars. Between markets of local products, mulled wine tastings, reenactments of grape treading at the Palmento Montesanto, and a mycological exhibition, the festival celebrated the autumn flavors of the Etna region.

The Autumn Scents and Flavors 2025 event was held in Nicolosi (Catania) over the three weekends of November 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23, 2025, with markets open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (until 10:00 PM on the final Sunday).

  • First weekend (November 8-9) - Tradition and folklore: free visits to the Palmento Montesanto and the Lava Stone Museum, reenactment of grape treading with must tasting, Sicilian carts, folk groups, and mulled wine tasting.
  • Second weekend (November 15-16) - Mushrooms and model aircraft: mycological exhibition by the Bresadola Mycological Association, model aircraft display, and tastings.
  • Third weekend (November 22-23) - Painting and vintage cars: vintage car parade, painting activities with local schools, and final mulled wine tasting.

At the stands in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, visitors could find Etna apples and pears, mushrooms, chestnuts, grapes, wine, oil, honey, cheeses, and typical Sicilian sweets. Admission was free.
