Autumn Festival with the Maxitorta

The 20th edition

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM, Piazza G. Marconi in Fontechiari hosted the twentieth edition of the Autumn Festival with the Maxitorta, organized by the Pro Loco Fontechiari APS with the municipal administration and the support of the Lazio Region.

The monumental dessert was created by Pasticceria Fallena and assembled in front of the public across the entire square, before being sliced and distributed for free. The stands featured roasted chestnuts, local wine, and the famous Nonna Giuliana's crespelle. The musical entertainment was provided by the group Saltapizzica, with a repertoire of folk music from southern Lazio.

Alongside the gastronomy, the Pro Loco offered guided tours of the historic center, an exhibition dedicated to brigandage, the exhibition "Gli emigrati siamo noi" at Palazzo Agostini, and, in the Conference Hall, the inlay works of master Paolo Capobianco.
