Autumn Festival – San Martino (Chestnuts and Wine)

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Autumn Festival – San Martino was held on November 8 and 9 in the San Michele district of Acireale. The day opened in the morning with tastings of typical products, while at 1:00 PM the actual food festival began in the square, with homemade macaroni, sausages, roasted chestnuts, and new wine, as well as desserts and seasonal delicacies.

For children, there were bouncy castles and a puppet theater, while the cultural program included the «Autumn in Verse» poetry festival and a themed drawing exhibition. To complete the celebration, dance performances and folk and musical shows took place throughout the district's streets.

Program of the 2025 edition (November 8–9):

• Morning — Opening with tastings of typical products
• 1:00 PM — Start of the food festival in the square: homemade macaroni, sausage, chestnuts, new wine, and traditional desserts
• Entertainment for children with bouncy castles and puppet theater
• «Autumn in Verse» poetry festival
• Themed drawing exhibition
• Dance performances and folk and musical shows
