Autumn Festival

The 29th edition of the Amatrice Autumn Festival was held on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November 2025, enlivening the area of the Il Corso Shopping Centre and the Piazzale ex ANPAS. Organised by the Pro Loco of Amatrice together with the Municipality, UNPLI, and with the support of the Lazio Region, the festival combined the market of local produce and crafts with the tradition of the 'Pane dei Santi', blessed and distributed according to ancient local custom.

Mountain gastronomy was the main attraction, with polenta with pork ribs and sausages, country soup, 'picone', chestnuts, and mulled wine served at the stalls from 12:00 to 19:00. There was also folk music, marching bands, and workshops for children, in addition to guided tours of the San Fortunato archaeological site and the opening of the Floriana Svizzeretto Museum.

Saturday 1 November 2025

• 10:00 — Il Corso Shopping Centre area: opening of the market of local produce and crafts
• 10:00-13:00 — Opening of the Floriana Svizzeretto Museum
• 11:00 — Piazzale ex ANPAS: 'Pane dei Santi', blessing and distribution of the classic rolls according to ancient local custom
• 11:30 — Pinaco-Arafranca hamlet: archaeological visit to the San Fortunato site with experts
• 11:30 — "Little Weaves" workshop with Antonio Cannavicci
• 12:00-19:00 — Piazzale ex ANPAS: food stall with polenta with pork ribs, country soup, 'picone', chestnuts, mulled wine, and 'cassoeula' (pork and cabbage stew)
• 12:00 — Piazzale ex ANPAS: Folk Music Show with Maestro Luigi Coccia
• 12:00 — Roaming: concert by the Piceno Brass
• 15:00-19:00 — Piazzale ex ANPAS: "Games in Company" and autumn creation workshop

Sunday 2 November 2025

• 10:00 — Il Corso Shopping Centre area: craft market
• 10:00-13:00 — Museum opening
• 12:00-19:00 — Food stall with traditional dishes and bruschetta
• 12:00 — Musical entertainment with the Brigallè from Morolo (accordion, tambourine, guitar, and concertina)
• 12:30 — Performance by the "Città dell'Amatrice" Marching Band
• 15:00 — Games and recreational activities

• Blessing and distribution of the 'Pane dei Santi'
• Food stall with polenta, chestnuts, and mulled wine
• Folk music with Maestro Luigi Coccia, the Piceno Brass, and the Brigallè from Morolo
• Archaeological visit to the San Fortunato site
