Autumn Dialogues

The 2025 edition

The fifth edition of Autumn Dialogues inaugurated the resumption of the Accademia Filarmonica Romana's concert activity on September 18, 2025, accompanied by the Fratres project. The opening concert featured the Lucca-born brothers Niccolò and Lorenzo Corsaro, on viola and piano respectively, with Schubert's «Arpeggione» Sonata and Brahms' Sonata in F minor, Op. 120 No. 1.

The cycle concluded on Thursday, October 16, 2025, with a recital by pianist Giacomo Menegardi, winner of the 2023 Premio Venezia, in an entirely 19th-century program that paired Mendelssohn, Schumann, Liszt, and Scriabin's Second Sonata. In this edition as well, each concert was preceded by an introduction from musicologist Valerio Sebastiani and repeated the following weekend in the Recital Hall of the La Mortella Gardens in Ischia, thanks to the collaboration with the William Walton Foundation.
