Auto Rally Garfagnana

14th edition — September 13-14, 2025

The 2025 edition of the Auto Rally Garfagnana went down in local history as the true return of the event, forty-nine years after the last race in 1976. Twenty-eight vintage cars from the 60s and 70s set off from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana for a journey through time along the Serchio Valley, concluding on Sunday at the Mont'Alfonso Fortress.

Not a race against the clock, but skill tests and conviviality: the Viviani-Viviani crew took the victory aboard a Mini Cooper, while a special recognition went to the crew that traveled the furthest, arriving from Assisi in a Mercedes. The organization was handled by the Pro Loco of Castelnuovo with the collaboration of the Garfagnana municipalities and civil protection volunteers.
