Edition 2025 — Aura Fest

The third edition of Aura Fest took place on August 4, 2025, in the historic center of Santa Lucia del Mela, with the theme "Learning to fly, learning to dive deep." Directed by Giuseppe La Spada, it involved about 60 artists, many of whom were young Sicilian talents selected through an open call, and attracted over 3,500 visitors along a route that stretched from the Castle to the Piazza della Concattedrale.

Aura Fest 2025: Flying deep

The 2025 edition of Aura Fest was held on August 4, 2025, in the historic center of Santa Lucia del Mela (ME), under the theme "Learning to fly, learning to dive deep", an oxymoron that reflects the spiritual dimension of artistic director Giuseppe La Spada's vision.

The village was transformed into an open-air museum with about 60 artists and over 3,500 visitors. The opening, in Piazza Castello, featured the refined sounds of Gianni Gebbia, performances by the Chorus Overture, aerial dance by Francesca Peruzzi, and the OMA dancers with "The Four Seasons." Special guests included singer Roberta Montanari, a backing vocalist for Vasco Rossi. The grand finale, in the atrium of the Bishop's Palace, brought together Montanari and singer-songwriter Pier Cortese for an elegant and engaging concert.

A success that confirmed Aura Fest as one of the premier cultural events of the Messina summer, capable of enhancing the village's historical-cultural heritage and the young talents of Sicily.
