The 2025 August Festivals in Forano

In 2025, the August Festivals Committee once again filled the Forano calendar between August 15th and 24th, confirming the historic structure of the event in the center of the Rieti Sabina.

Highlights

The Pasta Festival reached the milestone of its fiftieth edition, remaining the most anticipated gastronomic event. The Under a Sky of Wine event offered food and wine tastings starting in the evening, accompanied by the concert of the Vasco Rossi cover band Siamo solo noi and a DJ set in Piazza Garibaldi. There was also the Forano Vecchio vs. Forano Nuovo palio, the lighthearted challenge between the two parts of the town.

The evening of August 23rd and the patronal feast

On August 23rd in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the Export Medley in Italy concert took place, followed by the cabaret show of the Abruzzese comedian Nduccio. The festivities then closed on August 24th with the patronal feast of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle, featuring religious celebrations, a procession, and music in the square.
