Edition 2025 — Atessa Carnival
The 2025 edition of the Atessa Carnival, coordinated by the Tocca la Luna Association, featured two events. On March 4, at 3:30 PM, the multi-purpose hall of Piazza Oberdan hosted the children's carnival with a costume parade, soap bubbles, popcorn, candy, dancing, and games with entertainers, with free admission.
On Sunday, March 9, at 2:30 PM, the grand parade was held in the historic center: allegorical floats and masks traveled along Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza Garibaldi with a double loop. The procession was led by the Dragon, the symbol of Atessa. Carnival groups from Atessa, Casoli, Tornareccio, and Torino di Sangro participated, featuring music, dancing, awards, food stalls, DJs, acrobats, stilt walkers, workshops, and face painting.
