Edition 2025 — At the City Gates

In June 2025, the historic centre of Lequile hosted a new edition of At the City Gates, confirming the formula that has made the event a beloved Salento tradition: courtyards, palaces, and secret gardens open to the public, art exhibitions, crafts, and live music spread throughout the village alleys, with the participation of dozens of local artists and associations.

The 2025 edition of At the City Gates renewed the appointment in June with the cultural event that transforms the historic centre of Lequile into an immersive stage. As per tradition, the courtyards, ancient palaces, and secret gardens of the village opened their doors to welcome the public on a journey through art, crafts, and music.

Along the streets of the centre, between Piazza San Vito and the surrounding roads, exhibitions, creative installations, craft demonstrations, and musical performances alternated, involving numerous Salento artists, groups, and cultural associations. The edition consolidated the success of the event, paving the way for the growth recorded the following year.
