Edition 2025 — Astrokids

In 2025, Astrokids returned to the INAF-Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory with a session on Saturday, May 17th, at 10:30 AM, dedicated to "The Secrets of Light." Luciano Terranegra and Maria Teresa Fulco guided children through the discovery of what light is, how it travels, and the surprises it holds, using the usual practical approach of experiments and hands-on activities at the National Auditorium on Salita Moiariello, in Naples.

Astrokids 2025 at the Capodimonte Observatory

The 2025 edition confirmed the formula that the project has been carrying out for years: on Saturday mornings, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, the National Auditorium of the INAF-Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory transformed into a laboratory for children aged 8 to 11, accompanied by their parents.

The session on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, was dedicated to "The Secrets of Light," led by Luciano Terranegra and Maria Teresa Fulco: a journey into what light is, how it propagates, and the magic it can produce, told through simple experiments and hands-on activities.

In 2025 as well, spots were limited and online booking, which opened in the weeks preceding the meeting, proved essential. Astrokids remains one of the most sought-after events that the Naples observatory dedicates to families in Campania.
