Edition 2025 — AstiTeatro

The 47th edition of AstiTeatro took place from June 18th to 29th, 2025, with a preview on June 15th. Under the theme «Past/Present/Future», the festival brought theatre, music, dance, and circus to Asti, once again transforming the city into a sprawling stage across squares, courtyards, and theatres, featuring national premieres and the traditional Scintille competition for young companies.

AstiTeatro 47 — «Past/Present/Future»

The 2025 edition of AstiTeatro, the forty-seventh, was held from June 18th to 29th, preceded by a preview on June 15th dedicated to a production from the PCTO artistic residency. The programme, divided into theatre, music, dance, and circus sections, revolved around the theme «Past/Present/Future», taking performances out of the theatres and transforming Asti into a city-stage.

Among the titles on the bill were Slips Inside by the company Okidok, Lu Santo Jullare Francesco with Ugo Dighero, the musical show Nel blu dedicated to Domenico Modugno, and the dance creation M'illumino d'immenso. The evenings of June 20th and 21st hosted the Scintille competition in the courtyards of historic palaces. The opening took place from Piazza San Secondo, in the heart of the Municipality of Asti.
