The 78th Pepper Festival 2025

From August 1 to 4, 2025, Motta di Costigliole d'Asti (AT) hosted the 78th edition of the Asti Square Pepper Festival at the Motta sports field. Four evenings of celebration with food stands open every evening from 7:00 PM, featuring grilled meats, street food, the famous fried frogs alla mottese, and of course the square pepper, a Slow Food Presidium, accompanied by local wines.

On Saturday, August 2, at 6:00 PM, the official inauguration took place with the awards ceremony and the opening of the Motta Square Pepper Market. Music enlivened the event every evening: the "Voglio Tornare Negli Anni 90" show, the orchestras of Matteo Bensi and Gianmarco Bagutti with the Shary Band, DJ Roberto Molinaro, up to the grand finale on Monday with Omar Codazzi and the young Jay C. Free admission, organized by the Pro Loco of Motta.
