The 2025 edition
In 2025, the tradition born in 1980 was renewed once again: Sunday, August 10th, at 8:30 PM, the statue of Mary Most Holy Assumed into Heaven departed by boat from Baia Azzurra to travel along the coast of Mondragone and land on the seafront, welcomed by the faithful, vacationers, and curious onlookers who arrived from all over the Domitian coast.
The landing served as a prologue to the Feast of Mary Assumed into Heaven, hosted from August 12th to 16th on viale Regina Margherita and promoted by the San Rufino Vescovo parish, with the usual blend of liturgical moments, tastings of typical Mondragone products, and musical evenings. Among the civil events, the Bles concert "Waiting for Ferragosto" on August 14th at Piazzale Conte and the musical evening on August 16th in Piazza Giovanni Falcone. As every year, access to all initiatives was free.
