Assumption Festival of Pieve di Chiampo

The 2025 edition of the Assumption Festival was held from August 14th to 17th in the La Pieve district of Chiampo, in the province of Vicenza. The sacred part celebrated the Solemnity of the Assumption with masses, confessions, and the celebration on August 15th presided over by the Bishop of Vicenza; the profane part offered the food stand with local specialties (grilled pork chop, pasta with trout sauce, Vicenza-style cod), evenings of live music and DJ sets, the beer pong tournament, the traditional round dancing on August 15th, and the fireworks display. A festival that each year renews the encounter between Marian devotion and community celebration in the Chiampo Valley.
