Edition 2025 — Assumption Feast

In the summer of 2025, Farnese celebrated the popular Feast of Maria Assunta during the week of Ferragosto, as part of the rich Summer in Farnese calendar. Between the Assumption procession, the tombola in Piazza del Comune, and the Historical Pageant in 18th-century costumes, the village in the Viterbo Tuscia renewed a tradition that combines faith, history, and village conviviality.

Ferragosto 2025 in Farnese

The 2025 edition of the Assumption Feast enlivened the historic center of Farnese, in the province of Viterbo, during the week of Ferragosto. The procession of the Madonna Assunta and the traditional tombola in Piazza del Comune marked the evenings, along with the Farnese Historical Pageant in 18th-century costumes.

The festival was part of the Summer in Farnese 2025 program, which also featured the Egg Fettuccine Festival (August 8-10) and the Acquacotta Festival (August 16-18), showcasing the gastronomic and cultural vibrancy of the village in the Lazio Region.
