Assietta Legend & Gravel Race

The 2025 edition of the Assietta Legend, the 37th in its history, took place in Sestriere on Saturday, July 5, confirming the event as one of the benchmarks in the mountain bike marathon calendar. The course, covering approximately 61 km and 1,930 meters of elevation gain, took competitors from the Sentiero Bordin up to the 2,500 meters of Monte Genevris, along the legendary Strada dell'Assietta between military mule tracks and historic fortifications.

In the men's category, success went to Michele Guadagnini (Team Todesco), who finished the race in 2 hours, 38 minutes, and 44 seconds, ahead of Giorgio Francisco (Silmax Racing Team, 2:39:22) and Adriano Caratide (Leynicese Racing Team, 2:39:24). Among the women, victory went to Carlotta Borello, with a time of 3h14'59''. A day of intense sport that preceded, the following day, the Granfondo Sestriere Colle delle Finestre.
