Assietta Battle Historical Re-enactment and Piedmont Festival

The 57th edition was held on Saturday, July 19th, and Sunday, July 20th, at Colle dell'Assietta. Saturday afternoon opened the doors to the historical camps starting at 3:00 PM, concluding in the evening with an evocative torchlight procession to the obelisk, a tribute to the fallen, and a bonfire.

Sunday opened with the flag-raising ceremony, followed by Mass celebrated in the morning, the official commemoration at the obelisk, and the historical re-enactment of the July 19, 1747, combat near Casa Assietta. The day continued with traditional Piedmontese dances and music, and the presentation of a volume dedicated to the 1747 military campaign, in the presence of historical groups such as the Gruppo Storico Pietro Micca.
