Edition 2025 — Ascoli Opera Season

The 2024/2025 opera season of the Marche Opera Network Foundation presented two masterpieces of Italian melodrama at Ascoli Piceno's Ventidio Basso Theatre: Verdi's Un ballo in maschera (23 November 2024) and Puccini's Madama Butterfly (12 April 2025), with the usual afternoon previews for young people.

2024/2025 Season in Ascoli Piceno

The 2024/2025 edition at the Ventidio Basso Theatre featured two highly anticipated titles from the catalogues of Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini: A Masked Ball (23 November 2024, 8:30 PM, with youth preview on 21 November at 5:00 PM) and Madama Butterfly (12 April 2025, 8:30 PM, with youth preview on 10 April at 5:00 PM). The season, artistically directed by Alessio Vlad as part of the network of theatres in Ascoli Piceno, Fano, and Fermo, confirmed the role of the Marche Opera Network Foundation as a benchmark for opera in the Piceno region.
