Ascigno Festival (Saint Gabriel and Our Lady of Sorrows)

The festival opened on Thursday, September 4, with human foosball. On Friday, September 5, the procession with the statue of Saint Gabriel took place through the district, followed by an evening Holy Mass and a concert by the Cristal Sound orchestra. On Saturday, September 6, there were morning and evening Holy Masses, a performance by the "Salvatore Trovato" marching band, a solemn procession with a torchlight parade, performances by young singers Melissa Memeti and Alessandra Colacarlo, and a concert by Roberta Faccani, former voice of Matia Bazar. To close, the traditional fireworks and a DJ set. The event was organized by the San Gabriele Festival Committee of Ascigno.
