Asciano Suono Festival

The 2025 edition, the fourth, brought a week of music to the Crete Senesi under the banner of the "Sound of Peace." The festival opened in Arbia with pianist Andrea Missiroli, followed by concerts at various times of the day. Special productions included: the Greek group Evì Evàn Rebetiko, which transformed the center of Asciano into an ancient Hellenic tavern; Davide Varrucciu "The birdsman," with his birds of prey in flight over the clay hills at sunset; and Daria Bignardi, accompanied by the string quartet of the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra. The grand finale at the Anfiteatro delle Crete featured "Sound of Peace · from sunset to the stars, a song for the world," with full-price tickets at 29 euros and reduced tickets at 25 euros for Unicoop Firenze members.
