2025 Edition: the thirteenth

The AS Film Festival 2025 was held over the weekend of November 15 and 16 at the Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese, in the Sala Cinecittà, under the direction of Giuseppe Cacace and organized by the neurodivergent staff of the Not Equal association.

On Saturday, November 15, the afternoon was entirely reserved for the 15 Italian short film finalists of the Punti di Vista section, chosen from over 700 works submitted to the call. In the evening, it was time for the Ragionevolmente Differenti showcase, dedicated to cinema about neurodiversity, and the awards ceremony, complemented by a special screening of the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land.

On Sunday, November 16, starting at 3 PM, the 15 animation shorts of Animation Now! were screened, hailing from Brazil, the UK, Hong Kong, Slovakia, Portugal, Belgium, and Spain; at 5 PM, it was the turn of the works from the twelve crews of the eighth edition of the 42HRS contest, which had started the previous Friday. The jury included, among others, illustrator Davide De Cubellis, screenwriter Peppe Fiore, and Tiziana Spadaro, president of the FICC.
