Artopia 2025 — The First Edition

The debut of Artopia Street Art Festival animated the historic center of Fossombrone from Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, 2025, with an inauguration on Friday at 4:30 PM. The event transformed streets, alleys, disused spaces, minor churches, and small squares into a large open-air museum of ephemeral contemporary art.

The festival involved 115 artists, some from outside the region, spread across 39 locations, both indoors and outdoors, organized along 3 visiting routes, one of which was accessible to people with reduced mobility. Indoor locations were open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while outdoor works remained visible at all hours; some installations could be viewed for an extended period until September 28.

Promoted by Fossombrone Contemporanea with the Municipality of Fossombrone and the Marche Region, under the artistic direction of Simone Massi, the festival collaborated with the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino, Alma Animatori, LIMS, and the Vernarecci Cultural Association. Admission was free.
