Edition 2025 — Artist at the GNAMC

In 2025, the Artist at the GNAMC project was dedicated to Mario Ceroli, born in Castel Frentano in 1938, one of the protagonists of Italian sculpture in the second half of the 20th century. The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome hosted the monographic exhibition Ceroli Totale, which opened on October 7, 2025, retracing the artist's relationship with wood, space, and the theatrical scene.

Ceroli Totale, the year 2025

The second edition of the Artist at the GNAMC project, following the 2024 inaugural edition dedicated to Emilio Isgrò, featured Mario Ceroli in 2025. The exhibition Ceroli Totale, opened on October 7, 2025, in the halls of the National Gallery on Viale delle Belle Arti in Rome, showcased the full dimension of an artist who traversed sculpture, installation, architecture, and set design.

As with other editions, the exhibition was accompanied by a program of meetings and in-depth activities, following the formula desired by director Renata Cristina Mazzantini: a gallery and a year of activities for a leading figure of contemporary Italian art, in the heart of the Flaminio district.
