Artisan Ceramics Exhibition 2025 — 53rd edition

The 53rd edition of the Artisan Ceramics Exhibition of Cutrofiano took place from August 9th to 16th, 2025, organized by the Municipality of Cutrofiano in collaboration with Carta Bianca srls and with the patronage of the Puglia Region and the Province of Lecce. Every evening, from 7 PM until midnight, the historic center was transformed into a large open-air workshop of master artisans at work, featuring art exhibitions, workshops, local products, music, and concerts.

The edition was dedicated to Pinocchio, the famous tale by Carlo Collodi. Among the highlights, the exhibition "Carissimo Pinocchio" featured ceramic works by various Italian artists and sculptures created by local schools, alongside the photographic exhibition "Homo Ludens" by Mario Cresci, dedicated to artifacts from the Ceramics Museum. The evenings alternated between Salento folk music and concerts in Piazza Cavallotti, with the opening entrusted to the Notte della Taranta and the closing, on August 16th, during the feast of San Rocco.

August 9th — Inauguration

• Official opening of the 53rd edition with exhibitions and workshops in the historic center
• Evening dedicated to Salento folk music with the Notte della Taranta (Hiram Salsano, Marcello De Carolis, Kamafei)

August 10th-15th — The evenings

• Concerts and Salento folk music shows in Piazza Cavallotti (including artists: Tremulacore, Jonica Popolare, Fimmine Fimmine)
• Exhibition "Carissimo Pinocchio" with ceramic works by Italian artists and sculptures by local schools
• Photographic exhibition "Homo Ludens" by Mario Cresci at the Ceramics Museum
• Special openings of the Ceramics Museum and the Library in Piazza Municipio, visits, workshops, and literary walks
• Food stands and tastings of Puglian wines, historical wooden carousel

August 16th — Feast of San Rocco

• Closing evening with the concert by "Il Giardino dei Semplici"
