Art Summit – Vesuvius Contemporary Experience and Residency

Art Summit 2025, the Vesuvius Biennale edition

From May 2 to 10, 2025, the Borgo Casamale of Somma Vesuviana hosted the third edition of Art Summit – Vesuvius Contemporary Experience and Residency. The opening, on Friday, May 2 at 7:30 PM at the Hub-Side on Via Campane, kicked off nine days of exploration, meetings, and visits, with free access to public events.

The international selection brought together Giulio Bensasson, Andrea Bolognino, FLOVVER, Hetty Laycock, Rovers Malaj, Millim Studio, Rebecca Moccia, Ludovica Proietti, QOA and Primerio, TipStudio, Dominika Trapp, and ZicZic Edizioni. The program intersected with the conclusion of the Festa della Montagna, with the ascent of Mount Somma on May 3, and took the group to the Museo Nitsch, Casa Morra, Fondazione Morra Greco, and the Pompeii Archaeological Park, as well as local foundries and artisan workshops.

The 2025 edition marked a turning point for the Tramandars project: it was here that the Vesuvius Biennale was announced, a cycle of actions and activations that takes the Vesuvius territory as a platform for critical thought and linguistic experimentation, far beyond the borders of the center of Naples.
