Art inhabits the Conero village for the entire summer
Every summer, the Municipality of Sirolo, a small village in the Province of Ancona overlooking the Adriatic Sea and nestled within the Conero Park, dedicates an entire season to the visual arts. The Art Exhibitions Summer event brings together under one program the exhibitions that animate the town's cultural spaces from late June to early September: painting, sculpture, photography, graphics, and installations alternate in Sirolo's historic halls, transforming the center into a widespread exhibition route to be discovered while strolling through the alleys.
The charm of this event lies in its dialogue with the village. The artworks are displayed in the town's restored spaces, such as the ancient deconsecrated church, now used as an exhibition venue, and the Palazzo del Parco complex, which the Municipality uses as a cultural hub after careful restoration. Visiting the exhibitions thus becomes an opportunity to also discover Sirolo's medieval architecture, its small squares, and the viewpoints that open onto the sea and the Conero coast.
The Art Exhibitions are part of a particularly dense cultural season: the Municipality of Sirolo offers over two hundred summer events each year, including concerts, theater performances, open-air cinema series, family entertainment, and major Italian music and entertainment stars. The exhibitions offer a more intimate and contemplative counterpoint to this ferment, inviting the public to a slow pause dedicated to art and beauty.
The event is also designed for the many tourists who choose Sirolo and the Conero Riviera as their beach and excursion destination. Between a day at the beach and a hike along the Park's trails, the exhibitions offer one more reason to visit the village in the evening, when the historic center comes alive and the exhibition halls welcome visitors. It's a way to experience Sirolo not just as a seaside resort, but as a vibrant cultural center of the Marche region.
The dates for the 2026 edition, from June 27 to September 6, have been confirmed by the official tourist portal of the Municipality of Sirolo. The event brings a series of art exhibitions to the Conero village, spread throughout the entire summer season.
