Art, Crafts, Music and… Siole Pien-e

From October 2 to 12, 2025, Rivera di Almese (TO) celebrated its most beloved event, dedicated to Siole Pien-e. The festival was inaugurated on Friday, October 3, with a concert by the Rivera Philharmonic conducted by Maestro Giorgio Bun, while the highlight was Sunday, October 5, featuring the craft market, Slow Food stalls, solemn Mass and procession, the distribution of Siole Pien-e and bignette cui pum, Raku pottery demonstrations, and dance performances.

Among the most popular events: the stuffed onion and apple pie competition open to everyone, art exhibitions at the Ricetto di San Mauro (including "ETERE. La Quintessenza"), the Ligabue tribute concert by Radiofreccia, showcooking with onion-wine pairings, nature walks, and the final non-competitive run. A community celebration that confirmed Rivera's strong bond with its gastronomic tradition.

Friday, October 3

• 17:00-19:00 — Distribution of reserved Siole Pien-e trays
• 21:00 — Official inauguration with the Rivera Philharmonic concert

Saturday, October 4

• 10:00-14:00 — Registration and submission for the apple pie competition
• 16:30 — Inauguration of the "ETERE. La Quintessenza" exhibition at Ricetto di San Mauro
• 21:00 — Ligabue tribute concert with Radiofreccia

Sunday, October 5 (Main Day)

• 09:00-18:00 — Craft market, Slow Food stalls, art demonstrations

• Nature walk with live music, children's activities, non-competitive run, bike excursion, bread-making workshop, and final closing toast
