Arrosticino and Fried Cheese Festival

The 2025 edition — the seventh — of the Arrosticino and Fried Cheese Festival confirmed the mid-summer appointment at the Area Terminal of Isola del Gran Sasso d'Italia, in the province of Teramo. As per tradition, the Pro Loco Insula 2.0 food stands opened every evening from 7:00 PM, offering the famous sheep meat arrosticini cooked on the fornacella, fried cheese with a melting heart, and other local specialties, accompanied by wine and beer.

The four evenings featured a mix of live music, shows, and DJ sets until late at night, attracting residents, vacationers, and the many visitors heading to the nearby San Gabriele sanctuary. An edition that reaffirmed the festival's role as one of the most beloved summer events in the Teramo valley.
