Ariel a Castello Festival

Eleventh Edition (2025)

From August 28 to 30, 2025, Casoli hosted the eleventh edition of the Ariel a Castello Festival, the D'Annunzio literary review promoted by the Municipality. The program opened on Thursday, August 28, at the Ducal Castle with the awarding of scholarships to deserving students, Walter Nanni's show Costa Discordia, and the preview of the short film Casoli: City of Readers.

On Friday, August 29, in Piazza Santa Reparata, the Armonie dei Colli choir performed, followed by presentations of local history volumes by Cecilia Di Paolo and Vincenzo Rossetti, with an aperitif provided by Pro Loco Casulae. The closing evening on Saturday, August 30, at the Ducal Castle, featured the presentation of books by Antonello Masciantonio (D'Annunzio ospite di Pascal) and Nicola Antonucci (Il respiro di Ariel), with musical interludes by maestro Marco Pellegrini.

Thursday, August 28 - Ducal Castle (6:15 PM): Awarding of scholarships to deserving students, Walter Nanni's show Costa Discordia, preview of the short film Casoli: City of Readers, buffet.

Friday, August 29 - Piazza Santa Reparata (5:30 PM): Armonie dei Colli choir directed by Giuseppe Di Falco, presentation of Aspetti di vita sociale nella Casoli dell'Ottocento by Cecilia Di Paolo and Casoli nella storia by Vincenzo Rossetti, aperitif with Pro Loco Casulae.

Saturday, August 30 - Ducal Castle (8:30 PM): Presentation of D'Annunzio ospite di Pascal by Antonello Masciantonio and Il respiro di Ariel by Nicola Antonucci, musical interludes by maestro Marco Pellegrini, buffet.
