ARF! Comics Festival - Garbatella Edition

ARF! 2025 at the Mattatoio

Before choosing the widespread format, in 2025 ARF! still had a single headquarters: the Pelanda del Mattatoio and the Città dell'Altra Economia, both in the Testaccio district of Rome. From May 23 to 25, the Festival of Stories, Signs & Sketches brought together exhibitions, meetings with stars of the sector, publishers, and protagonists of cinema, music, and contemporary arts.

Guests and sections

The poster for the edition bore the signature of Davide Toffolo, while international guests invited for lectures included Jon McNaught, David B., and Bryan Talbot. The historical sections of the event were confirmed: the Self Area dedicated to independent publishing, the Artist Alley with authors of the world comicdom, the professional meetings of JOB ARF!, and the workshops for children and teenagers of ARF! Kids.
