Edition 2025 — Arenella Living Nativity
The seaside nativity for Epiphany 2025
The 2024/2025 edition of the Arenella Living Nativity confirmed the unique charm of the event: the only living nativity in Sicily set by the sea. The Epiphany performances were held on January 6 and 7, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, along Via della Leva in the Arenella fishing village of Palermo.
Directed by Bianca Catanzaro, the parishioners of Sant'Antonio di Padova brought to life the nativity, the ancient trades of the village, and, for the Epiphany, the arrival of the Three Wise Men, their passage through King Herod's palace, and the adoration of the Child. Admission was free, with mandatory reservation via the event's official channels.
