Edition 2025 — ARDEAOPENDAY

During 2025, Ardea opened the doors to its archaeological heritage with extraordinary days dedicated to discovering the sites of the ancient Latin city. The openings, curated by the Pro Loco Ardea APS in collaboration with the Superintendency and the Accademia Filarmonica di Ardea, anticipated the spirit of ARDEAOPENDAY, enhancing the territory's archaeological areas with guided tours open to the public.

Ardea 2025: opening the archaeological heritage

2025 marked a season of renewed attention toward the historical heritage of Ardea, in the Province of Rome. With the extraordinary opening of archaeological sites, the Pro Loco Ardea APS accompanied residents and visitors to discover the areas of Casarinaccio, Colle della Noce, and the Oratorio Ipogeo, with guided tours led by officials from the Superintendency.

These initiatives, enriched on some occasions by musical moments from the Accademia Filarmonica di Ardea, laid the foundations for the ARDEAOPENDAY event, confirming the cultural vocation of the Lazio town and its commitment to sharing the roots of the ancient city of the Rutuli.
