Arco Slow

On April 6, 2025, Arco experienced its first Sustainable Mobility Day with the debut edition of Arco Slow. The day opened at 11:30 AM with a parade accompanied by the Banda Sociale di Dro-Ceniga, marching from Cantiere 26 to viale delle Palme, the heart of the event, followed by lunch with the Collettivo Octopus. From 2 PM to 6 PM, the streets and the Ex Tennis Park hosted stands, games, and workshops for all ages: from the "Safe Cycling" workshop with the Upper Garda Local Police to ecological clean-ups with Plastic Free, from skateboarding to capoeira, from slackline to board games.

The afternoon hosted talks and round tables, including the conference Courageous Choices for Sustainable Cities, moderated by Francesco Picello of the Smart Cooperative, with Pier Giorgio Oliveti (Director of Cittaslow International) and Simona Elmo (National Head of Youth Policies for Anci). The evening concluded with music and entertainment, including comedy sketches, a musical aperitif, and a live concert by Faanchaabi.

• 14:15-15:30 — Arco Slow Talk with local associations and committees.
• 16:00-16:30 — Round table What's moving in the Upper Garda?, moderated by IlT Quotidiano.
• 17:00-18:00 — Conference Courageous Choices for Sustainable Cities with Pier Giorgio Oliveti (Cittaslow International) and Simona Elmo (Anci).
• 18:00-22:00 — Music and entertainment: comedy sketches, AperiSlow with Chesko Dj, dinner with the Collettivo Octopus, Faanchaabi live, and DJ set.
