Edition 2025 — Archivifuturi

In 2025, Archivifuturi brought the public to discover contemporary archives between Gallarate and the Varese area, with MA*GA as the main venue and a packed program of exhibitions, studio visits, and performances.

The 2025 edition of Archivifuturi confirmed the formula of the widespread festival of contemporary archives, with the MA*GA Museum in Gallarate as the main hub and an extended itinerary through Alto Milanese, the province of Varese, the lakes, and the Swiss border. For several weekends in June, the public was able to enter artist studios, house-museums, foundations, and normally closed archives, following a program of exhibitions, performances, concerts, and guided tours. The event networked numerous cultural entities in the area, reaffirming the idea of archives as living material and not just as repositories of the past.
