Edition 2025 — Archivifuturi

In 2025, Archivifuturi brought the public to discover contemporary archives between Gallarate and the Varese area, with the MA*GA as the main venue and a packed program of exhibitions, studio visits, and performances.

The 2025 edition of Archivifuturi confirmed the formula of the widespread festival of contemporary archives, with the MA*GA Museum in Gallarate as the main hub and an extended itinerary through Alto Milanese, the province of Varese, the lakes, and the Swiss border. For several weekends in June, the public could enter artist studios, house-museums, foundations, and normally closed archives, following a program of exhibitions, performances, concerts, and guided tours. The event connected numerous cultural realities in the area, reinforcing the idea of archives as living material rather than mere repositories of the past.
