Archeologia Estate at Acqua Fredda Archaeological Site, Passo del Redebus

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 program at Acqua Fredda opened on July 18 with the interactive show «Face to Face: Stories of Prehistoric Men and Fantastic Animals», followed by a visit to the archaeological site. On July 25, the family workshop «Exploring Acqua Fredda: Archaeology and Nature» was held, focusing on metallurgy and naturalistic curiosities.

In August, the events continued: on August 1 with the experimental archaeology workshop «The Sword in the Stone», regarding copper extraction from malachite; on August 8 with «From Wood to Metal» involving the Mòcheni Cultural Institute, the mineralogical museum, and a forest walk; and on August 22 with an additional archaeology and nature workshop. All activities were free (except for small fees for shuttles and entry) with mandatory reservation.
