Edition 2025 — Aragonese Carnival
Aragonese Carnival 2025
The 2025 edition concluded on Tuesday, March 4th, after days of celebration that saw great participation, particularly over the weekend, with visitors arriving from neighboring towns as well. The symbolic allegorical float of the year was "Agrigento Capital of Paradoxes", a sharp satire on the theme of Agrigento as the Italian Capital of Culture.
Built in less than a month thanks to the commitment and enthusiasm of the town's youth, the float required complex mechanisms, the result of work coordinated by Gabriele Galluzzo and Rosario Salamone. The festival, supported by the Municipality of Aragona, also included a stop in the nearby town of Comitini, confirming the unifying value of the event for the entire Agrigento territory.
