Aradeo: Borgo dell'Arte Painting Competition

The "Borgo dell'Arte" painting competition in Aradeo, in the Province of Lecce, renewed its well-established formula for this edition: two days of live painting among the alleys and courtyards of the historic Salento center, with artists invited to create their works directly on-site after registration and canvas stamping.

Organized by the ArtAradeo cultural association, founded in 2010 by Antonio Giuppa and Fernando Manco, the event continued to attract painters from Salento and various Italian regions, confirming its commitment to enhancing the village through the eyes of artists. The finished works were exhibited, and the best pieces were awarded by a jury during the final ceremony at the Domenico Modugno Municipal Theater.
