Edition 2025 — Trofeo del Ponte
The 2025 edition — the 49th Trofeo del Ponte — took place on Saturday, April 5, in Belgirate, opening the Verbano Championship for the ORC class. Together with the 30th Coppa Città di Arona, it was one of the first two events of the inaugural weekend of the sailing season on Lake Maggiore.
The 49th Trofeo del Ponte, gathered under the name April Sails, opened the 2025 season of the Verbano Championship on Saturday, April 5, in Belgirate. As ACT 1 of the circuit, the race kicked off the ORC cabin cruiser regattas on Lake Maggiore, while the 30th Coppa Città di Arona (ACT 2) was held during the same weekend. The edition confirmed the central role of Belgirate, home to the historic Società delle Regate of 1858, in the Verbano sailing calendar.
