April Festival (Liberation Day Anniversary)

The 2025 edition of the April Festival had a special meaning: the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation. From April 11th to 30th, Alessandria offered a rich calendar of initiatives promoted by A.N.P.I. and I.S.R.A.L.

Among the most heartfelt events, on the evening of April 24th, the concert and staged reading "Canzoni Resistenti" with Yo Yo Mundi. From April 21st to May 3rd, the "Francesca Calvo" Civic Library hosted a thematic bibliographic exhibition on the Resistance and the Liberation. On the morning of April 25th, at 9:00 AM, the laying of the laurel wreath at the Field of Glory of the Monumental Cemetery and, at 9:30 AM, the Holy Mass in suffrage of the fallen partisans in the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle.
