Edition 2025 — Appuntamento in Giardino Elba
In 2025, the Orto dei Semplici Elbano joined Appuntamento in Giardino, the APGI initiative twinned with Rendez-vous aux jardins, with a weekend of guided tours and activities dedicated to discovering the flora of the Tuscan Archipelago. The botanical garden next to the Eremo di Santa Caterina, in Rio (Island of Elba), opened its terraces to the public for a now-consolidated early summer event.
In 2025 as well, the Orto dei Semplici Elbano participated in Appuntamento in Giardino, the national event promoted by APGI during the same European weekend as Rendez-vous aux jardins. The days featured botanical guided tours through the garden's thematic sections and moments of in-depth study on Mediterranean flora and ancient crops of the Island of Elba, in the setting of the Eremo di Santa Caterina in Rio.
